This hard-to-find soft-cover book provides a history of coal mining in Southwestern Indiana and is meant to help people understand the hardships, hard work and dangers that coal miners had to endure. It is a first edition, copyright 2003, and is in very good condition. It features seldom-seen photos and lists of several hundred people who toiled in Warrick County mines.
