    Description

    This is a 14" Madame Alexander "Sonja Henie" doll made from 1939-1942.. She is dressed in a pink net outfit. I'm not sure if it is original since the tags have been removed. There are no shoes or panties. She is made of composition. Her flaws are shown. The eyes are brown and work easily but are crazed.(photo 4) She has all her lashes. There is light crazing on her face and there is a scratch and  a paint chip on the side of her nose. The wig which is mohair and I believe origional. The wig needs to be styled .She is marked Madame Alexander, Sonja Henie on her head. The body composition is great. I see no crazing . There is a chip on her left foot toes (photo 6). There is some paint rubs on the inside of the joints which is normal. She will need to be restung as her joints are loose. On a stand she is fine.This was from the estate of a local  doll artist as well as a collector of fine dolls. .The doll is in very good condition .Doll is from a NON-smoking enviroment.Shipping is extra  . Please ask any questions before bidding .
