Description
Here is a lovely 17" Madame Alexander doll named Amy who borrowed her sister Beth's darling dress. The dress is tagged 'Beth', so I thought the doll was Beth, but then found out she was Amy. I decided to keep them together as they probably have been together for a long time, packed away in the collection. Amy is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs and the only flaw I can see is a black spot on her beautiful golden hairdo. I don't know what caused it or if it can be fixed. The patent side button shoes are original, I believe, but one shoe is split at the back at the seam. I did gently launder the dress to rid it of a musty smell. It's also in very good condition, no rips, stains, holes or repairs, and has a white half-slip attached to the dress. The tag reads,' Louisa M. Alcott's Little Women 'Beth' Madame Alexander N.Y. USA. All Rights Reserved.'Shipping is .50 for this item.
I recently purchased a huge collection of dolls and accessories that I will be listing each week. (More accessories than dolls.) My knowledge of dolls is limited, but I'll try to describe them as best I can. Problem is I have tons of doll clothes, but don't know to whom they belong unless they are tagged. But I'm learning, slowly. And I would appreciate any help if I make a mistake. Thank you.
Sometimes I will gently launder an outfit if I think it needs it, but I will add it to the description if I do.
Please see all the photos and feel free to ask any questions, preferably before the listing ends. I prefer payment within 4 days, unless other arrangements have been made beforehand. I will return items only if I have made a mistake in the description. So please read the description carefully.
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. Thank you and happy bidding!
