Description

Antique etching folio print on vellum paper dating to circa 1890's. Print was removed from an incomplete antique book. Condition is good and clean with paper showing some discernible waves. Tissue protector is attached. The top blank margin edge shows evidence from once being bound in the art book. Tissue protector has a crease, is wrinkled and tissue protector has a stain. Overall size is approximately 5.5 x 8.5 inches and image size is approximately 3 1/8 x 5 inches, blank on the back. Blank margins are as shown and are full with the original tissue protector still attached with title and artist's and etcher's name.
Print is titled on tissue protector " Eb, Sir." Original Etching by George Cruikshank.
