ANTIQUE 1723 PORTRAIT BROOCH PENDANT PIN ENCRUSTED WITH CUT GEMSTONE PAPER PRINT

Description

Antique miniature victorian art print on paper dating to 1878.   Printing process is wood engraving printing process on light weight paper. Condition is very good and clean for the age. Please note this print was removed from an incomplete antique art book and was removed / cropped from a "page".   Print has text/ image on back, in which a vague impression can be seen on front. Also, there is some text on front.
Complete overall size is approximately 6.25 inches by 7 10/16 inches, with image size being approximately 3 inches by 4.5 inches ( size of image at longest and widest size ). Blank margins are approximately as shown. This small miniature print is wonderful for framing, collage, to be dry mounted, craft and art projects, scrapbooking, a diary and for doll houses.
Print reads  " Fig. 45.  "Fig. 230 - Broche a portraits, portant cette inscription; L. XV D. G. F R et N. REX. Ouvrage de pierreries, signed J. B. F. 1723. ."
