    Very Simple Use.  Special adapters to allow usb thumb drives to be added to the firestick and tivo stream tv devices.
    1. plug your micro usb power cord into the adapter
    2. plug the adapter into your firestick or tivo stream. ( the power passes through the adapter to the firestick or tivo.
    3. let the device boot up as normal.
    4. insert your usb thumbdrive into the usb on the adapter.
    5.  all usb storage drives must be formatted FAT 32 before inserting
    6. wait a few moments for the firestick or tivo to detect the drive and now it can be used as storage
    7.  firestick will also allow a micro sd card to be used as internal main storage.  a micro usb adapter will be needed to do this.
    8.  this is a perfect adapter to play games,roms,movies etc so on so forth.
    9 external hard drives will not work unless you have a separate powered hub to power them.
